SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4 HANA)

Qualifications

• 4+ years SAP ABAP development experience
• Good experience with S/4HANA ABAP development
• Understanding of S/4HANA extensibility concepts, custom code remediation, and clean core principles preferred
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition latest release or at least two major releases back preferred
• Experience participating in SAP ECC to S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition conversion projects is a plus
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP solutions based on approved technical designs
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and enhance ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom programs
• Perform ABAP debugging, root cause analysis, and technical issue resolution
• Support custom code remediation activities during S/4HANA conversion activities
• Ensure developments follow SAP standards, coding practices, and clean core principles
• Execute unit testing, support integration testing, and resolve technical defects
• Coordinate with functional, BASIS, BTP, Fiori, and integration teams to support solution delivery
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities

• Complete assigned activities according to project timelines and agreed quality standards
• Ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements
• Follow SAP implementation methodology, project governance, and delivery standards
• Apply SAP best practices and industry standards in solution delivery
• Maintain proper documentation for configuration, development, testing, decisions, and project activities
