Deskside Support

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual deployment of OS patches and security updates using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for Windows Servers, SQL Servers, and Windows workstations.
• Execute manual remediation on workstations where patch deployments were unsuccessful through MECM.
• Execute manual deployment OS patches, security updates, and bug fixes for Red Hat systems following established procedures.
• Validate successful installation of patches and document remediation results.
• Coordinate with internal support teams for approved maintenance windows and remediation schedules.
• Assist in post-remediation testing to confirm system functionality and compliance.
• Support monthly patch cycles for Microsoft Windows Servers, SQL Servers, Windows 11 workstations, Red Hat systems, VMware environments, and supported applications.
• Perform manual installation of EUFS security patches on workstations when automated deployment methods are unsuccessful.
• Escalate complex patching issues, high-risk vulnerabilities, and infrastructure-related concerns to senior engineers for resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any IT related course.
• Working knowledge of Windows OSBasic to intermediate experience with MECM/SCCM administration and patch deployment.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and security remediation processes.
• Understanding of VMware ESXi and vCenter environments.
• Understanding with Red Hat Linux patching activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot patch installation failures and endpoint compliance issues.Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work during scheduled maintenance windows when required. 
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City.
