🔍 What We’re Looking For
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis activities for space systems, covering both metallic and composite structures.
- Carry out FEM-based analyses, including linear, non-linear, and dynamic analyses (modal, sine, random, and shock).
- Analyse sandwich panels, bolted joints, and load introduction areas.
- Assess structural behaviour under launch and in-orbit mechanical environments.
- Develop and validate finite element models using industry-standard CAE tools.
- Prepare clear and detailed technical reports and present results to engineering teams and program stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ECSS standards throughout the analysis process.
🎯 Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace, Naval, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in structural analysis for space applications.
- Experience with metallic and composite structures.
- Solid knowledge of sandwich panels, bolted joints, and load introduction.
- Experience analysing launch and in-orbit mechanical environments.
- Strong expertise in FEM analysis, including linear and non-linear methods.
- Experience in dynamic analyses: modal, sine, random, and shock.
- Hands-on experience with one or more CAE tools such as FEMAP, HyperMesh, MSC Nastran / Patran.
- Experience working with ECSS standards.
- High level of spoken and written English.
Valuable Experience:
- Programming skills in Python and/or VBA (Visual Basic).
- Experience with condensed models.
- Vibro-acoustic analysis using tools such as VA One or MSC Actran.
- Experience with ANSYS Workbench – Mechanical.
