🔍 What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Space Systems Engineer with solid experience across the full spacecraft mission lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong systems engineering background, proven exposure to space missions from Phase 0 to Phase E, and the ability to coordinate complex technical activities involving space and ground segments while interacting with customers and key stakeholders.
 
📌 Key Responsibilities
• Define mission CONOPS, coordinating Space Segment and Ground Segment teams.• Support technical negotiations with customers, including requirement capture and system architecture definition.
• Define and maintain the mission technical schedule.
• Capture, manage, and flow down mission-level requirements to system and subsystem specifications.
• Define mission segment functional chains, ensuring end-to-end technical coherence across all elements.
• Identify, assess, and maintain the mission technical risk matrix.
• Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables in English.
• Manage and ensure consistency of system and subsystem interface documentation (ICDs).
 
🎯 Requirements
• At least 4 years of experience in the space industry.• Proven experience in space missions covering Phase 0 to Phase E of the project lifecycle.
• Full lifecycle systems engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of spacecraft systems, mission design, and space technologies.
• Knowledge of basic orbital dynamics concepts.
• Experience working with a specific spacecraft or payload subsystem, preferably in telecommunications.
• Strong background in systems engineering disciplines: requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, verification, and validation.
• Experience in technical negotiations with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional fluency in English.
 
⭐ Optional / Nice-to-Have
• Background in radio communications or signal intelligence.• Intermediate to expert experience with IBM Rational DOORS.
• Intermediate to expert experience with Capella and/or Enterprise Architect.
