We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong “Prime” mindset and proven expertise leading large-scale, complex projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple stakeholders and clients in the space field, while managing multidisciplinary teams, partners, and suppliers.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale projects as Prime/Coordinator, ensuring alignment across multiple clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and a wide ecosystem of providers and technological partners.
- Define project planning structures (WBS/EDT), schedules, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Identify and manage project risks (technical, cost, and schedule), including mitigation planning.
- Ensure compliance with corporate processes, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Manage budgets, perform cost control, and assess project profitability.
- Drive communication with diverse stakeholders, adapting messaging to different audiences.
- Contribute to the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies within projects.
🎯 Requirements
- Strong leadership skills managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple suppliers.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK (advanced), Prince2 (medium), Scrum and Kanban (medium/basic).
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project (advanced), Primavera P6 (medium), CA Clarity and Rational (medium), HP PPM and Redmine (basic).
- Knowledge of systems engineering practices, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and system integration.
- Experience with PLM tools (Windchill) and requirement management tools (DOORS – advanced).
- Strong understanding of risk management at both proposal and execution phases.
- Knowledge of ECSS standards (advanced).
- Familiarity with space, defense, or satellite domains (launchers, satellite operations, mission analysis, flight hardware) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (expert level).
