💡 What will you do?

 

  • Coordinate technical groups for design, trade-off analysis, development, and verification of critical subsystems.
  • Assess customer and mission needs to define system requirements and ensure compatibility of all interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain spacecraft system architecture, ensuring consistency across all subsystems.
  • Lead design coherence and verification for:
    • OBDH: operational modes, redundancy, FDIR, data buses, TM/TC.
    • Propulsion: chemical/electric architectures, mission integration, AOCS interfaces.
    • AOCS: sensors, actuators, control algorithms, operational modes.
    • Communication systems: telemetry, telecommand, RF and SDR platforms.
    • Electrical Power Subsystem: applicability and coordination with responsible teams.
  • Coordinate cross-discipline activities such as Ground Segment and Flight Operations interfaces.
  • Perform trade-off analyses, simulations, and optimization of mass, power, cost, and performance at system level.
  • Lead troubleshooting and anomaly resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation: requirements, ICDs, design reviews, and verification plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure spacecraft architecture meets mission requirements.

🎯 What are we looking for?

 

✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (PhD is a plus).
✅ 10+ years of experience in relevant roles within aerospace systems engineering.
✅ Strong knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems.✅ Experience in technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
✅ Familiarity with MBSE philosophy and ECSS standards.
✅ Hands-on approach to cross-functional technical issues.
✅ Fluent English (B2 minimum).
✅ Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
