🔍 What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Robotics / Mechatronics Engineer with experience in the design of actuated and deployable mechanisms and the development of real-time control systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in embedded electronics, control systems, and software development, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments within the space, defence, or security domains.
 
📌 Key Responsibilities
• Design of mechanical systems with actuation and/or deployable mechanisms.
• Development of active control systems based on microcontroller-driven electronics.
• Design and implementation of real-time control systems.
• Contribution to control, servo, and pointing systems within defence and security-related projects.
• Preparation of technical documentation in English, including technical notes, test reports, proposals, and user manuals.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams involved in space systems and related missions.
 
🎯 Requirements
• Degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 2 years of professional experience in relevant engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Advanced experience with: Simulation tools and Xilinx environments, Python oriented to mathematical and analytical modelling (Matlab-like usage), C and C++ development.
• Experience working with Linux-based environments.
• Knowledge of real-time systems and tools such as VxWorks.
• Advanced knowledge of control systems, servos, and pointing systems within defence and security contexts.
• High level of professional English (written and spoken).
 
Valuable
• Demonstrable experience in at least one satellite mission.
• Experience performing thermo-mechanical analysis.
