Project Management Engineer

At Indra Sistemas, a global leader in defence and technology solutions, we are seeking a Project Management Engineer to work on next-generation SDR systems and strategic projects that will define the future of Tactical Communications.

🎯 Your Mission

You will be responsible for ensuring the excellence, consistency, and performance of Tactical Communications programs — contributing to planning, documentation, tracking and coordination across teams. Your contribution will help ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-impact systems to our clients in Spain and worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other teams and areas across project organization, track and manage performance and achievements according to plan.
• Project planning: consolidate scope, work breakdown structures, develop project schedules.
• Lead the development of plans, reporting and project documentation.
• Technical oversight: coordinate across engineering teams, review technical specifications, ensure quality control.
• Risk management: identify risks and deviations, propose mitigation measures.
• Coordination and Communication: acting as a liaison between clients, engineers, and partners.

🧩 Requirements

• Bachelor or master degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles, preferably in Defence, Aerospace, or complex systems industries.
• Understanding of project management standards (PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
• Analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is highly valued.
• Eligible for working with classified or restricted defence information (as per national regulations).
