🔎 Position Overview

We are looking for an Engineer with experience in systems and solutions based on COTS software, ideally within the space domain. The selected candidate will contribute to the design, definition, and evolution of advanced software architectures, ensuring compliance with functional and cybersecurity requirements while optimizing licensing costs and maintaining an innovative approach.

🚀 Main Responsibilities

• Define cutting-edge software architectures based on COTS solutions and open-source components for critical systems in the space sector.
• Analyze, select, and optimize commercial software solutions, assessing performance, security, and cost.
• Collaborate closely on cybersecurity activities, including:
• Critical analysis of cybersecurity requirements
• Compliance assessment and reporting
• Proposal of justified deviations when needed
• Stay up to date on the latest trends in COTS software and open-source technologies applied to the space industry.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (development, infrastructure, security, systems engineering).

🛠️ Technical Requirements

• Experience with systems based on COTS software, ideally in space-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (System Administration).
• Experience in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL database administration.
• Understanding of:
• State-of-the-art COTS tools
• Published vulnerability databases (CVE, NVD, etc.)
• Current trends in open-source software applied to space environments
• High level of English (international environment).

• Previous experience in space engineering projects or other critical sectors.
• Certifications in cybersecurity or system administration.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
