Indra is seeking a highly skilled Senior ATM Engineer to join our dynamic team in Seoul. This is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems, collaborating with industry experts and leading innovative projects that shape the future of aviation technology.

💡 What will you do?

  • Lead installation, configuration, tuning, testing, training, and maintenance of ATC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, providing technical leadership on-site.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers during troubleshooting, system checks, and project execution.
  • Coordinate with Factory Engineers and clients to deliver and maintain ATC systems, ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Train Air Traffic Controllers and Technicians, leading final system testing phases with customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system upgrades and integration.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of project activities, system status, and on-site support, following Indra standards.
  • Support system maintenance and customer needs as directed by Project Manager and Factory Engineers.

  • Degree in Aeronautics, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Air Traffic Control systems or similar mission-critical environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Linux OS administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience in network administration (switches, routers).
  • Familiarity with Radar Systems, CNS Systems (Voice, Recorders), and TCP/IP protocol.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Korn shell, Python); programming skills are a plus.
  • Experience with system security and real-time monitoring tools.
  • Experience in large-scale system integration and deployment.
  • Willingness and availability to travel locally and internationally as required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player.
  • Ability to train and support junior engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities.
