YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead and support technical activities throughout the system lifecycle—especially during conception, specification and design phases—ensuring that system requirements, architectures and verification strategies are robust, traceable, and aligned with engineering best practices.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the analysis of system requirements and the writing of technical specifications.
• Architect end‑to‑end system solutions, defining functional and technical baselines.
• Contribute to and review high‑level IVQ engineering activities, including:
  • Definition of verification & test procedures
  • Analysis of test results
  • Reporting and documentation
• Manage requirements using tools such as DOORS or equivalent.
• Use and support Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies through tools such as Capella or Enterprise Architect.
• Coordinate engineering activities among multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation and system architecture descriptions.
• Support problem‑solving activities for complex systems, ensuring alignment between requirements, design, and verification.
• Ensure engineering traceability and compliance with relevant standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

A degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience leading complex technical projects.
• Solid background in systems engineering, including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • Writing specifications
  • System architecture definition
  • Best engineering practices during early lifecycle phases
• Experience in IVQ discipline, including test definition, analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced experience with DOORS or similar requirement management tools.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Capella or Enterprise Architect.

Technical Skills

• Experience addressing complex technical systems and producing clear technical documentation.
• Strong coordination skills for managing engineering activities.
• Experience with tracking/project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Knowledge (desirable) in:
  • Space systems engineering
  • Security and cybersecurity
  • Encryption, authentication, non‑repudiation mechanisms
  • ESA ECSS and INCOSE engineering standards
  • GNSS system concepts, GNSS signals and performance
  • RF interference detection and geolocation
• GNSS/WiFi/Cellular/RF‑based geolocation (intermediate level; 5–10 years valued).

Languages

• English – C1 level
